President Bush lifted a Presidential ban on offshore oil drilling yesterday as reported by  dan’s outside

and an article in the San Diego Union Tribune.  Fortunately Congress still has a ban in place, so we are not in anydanger of having oil rigs sprouting off of La Jolla.

What this really does is clarify where our president really stands on our environment, and how to solve our energy problems.   Hopefully the next president will better understand that we need to change our culture not drill more oil.  Hopefully we can chose carefully and put the right person in office.
