The fall weather in San Diego always wreaks havic on my psyche.  I am always ready for a change of pace after the warm dry summer.  I look forward to hiking in the cooler conditions,  and I miss the serenity of the winter desert.  Mother Nature begins to  give us glimpses of the cool weather this time of year,  and then just as quickly snatches it away,  blowing hot wind and dry air. I made a quick trip to our local mountains this weekend, and there was a pre-sunrise bite in air.   Yesterday, the Santa Ana winds have let up,  and I have a good feeling that that the San Diego winter is on its way.
