Loyd Schutte at Yosemite Blog posted a “A Rare Gem By John Muir” that made my morning. Anyone who has never read John Muir, and has an interest in the Sierra Nevadas, or the outdoors in general should take some time to read up.

I just read the excerpt and I thought it was terrific. I wish I could write like John Muir did. Not to mention do as many great and wonderful things that he did for what he loved (the Sierras).
