Since the Eureka Kaycee sleeping bag arrived in the mail, my wife has claimed it for herself. This 0 degree synthetic bag is one of the few warm enough for her chilly bones.

Eureka Kaycee Sleeping Bag
The bag comes with a full draft collar, and a thick fluffy hood that closes around the head minimizing heat loss. The bag comes with a built in pillow pocket, perfect for keeping a down jacket or a fleece under your head. There is a small pocket on the chest that has not seen much use. This bag is actually too warm for me in all but the coldest nights. It is cut narrow at the shoulders which is effective to reduce the amount of air to heat, but it is not very comfortable for my wide shoulders. Perri, my wife, has no complaints about the size. This bag is somewhat heavy and bulky for backpacking. At 4lbs 9oz, your pack weight will pay the price that you save in the pocket book.
Hovering at just over $100 bucks, the Eureka Kaycee is a good choice for occasional cold weather campers who are willing to shoulder some weight to save a few dollars. It is also a great choice for cold sleeping car-campers wanting a toasty bag for a good value.
