Sunset on the Three Sister Falls Trail
The trail to Three Sisters falls is easily the most challenging route in the 10 Days of Hiking. A visit to these falls will be a memorable experience; well worth of the hike. This set of three spectacular falls flows down the aptly named Boulder Creek producing a majestic trio of falls following by a very tranquil river bed dotted with shallow pools and shady trees.

A short climb on Three Sisters Trail
The hike to the falls involves a descent down the very steep trail on the north side of the canyon, culminating to a fairly easy climb down a small cliff near the base. There was a rope secured at this area on my last visit. From this point you can pick your way through the boulders of the canyon bottom up the creek until you arrive at the base of the third falls.
The trailhead in located of a hairpin turn on Boulder Creek Road where the gated Cedar Creek road intersects. You can park at this intersection, and follow the trail west along a ridge until you see another trail intersect to the south. Take this southern trail and you will soon begin spotting the falls in the distance.
