The Outdoor Industry has begun to embrace the social media platforms in a big way. Us end users can benefit , as these platforms provide a direct avenue for our voices to be heard. They are also doing some cool things to attract an audience in places like Facebook, Twitter and others. I received an email today from High Sierra Sports Company about their new Facebook Page here is what they said:

High Sierra just created a Facebook page. We are hoping to randomly send out free bags and do “nice” things for our High Sierra friends. In order to do that we need fans!

On Facebook – please search “High Sierra Sport Company” (all words) then click on – be a fan. We have offices throughout the world, so please be sure you type “High Sierra Sport Company” to get our U.S. office.

And don’t worry as we won’t dare send you junk messages, etc. You know us and that’s just not our style!
