Julian Starfest

July 31st, 2009 · No Comments

The Julian Starfest is returning for its second run from August 20 through August 23.  The sleeper event of last summer looks to surpass the fun by adding an extra night, and growing the event to accommodate the all of the interest surrounding the event. They are including a premium viewing area located away from the hustle and bustle for more serious stargazers.  The wonder of the simple act of staring into the heavens on a dark night is only multiplied when surrounded by people who have the same appreciation.  The number of knowledgeable star gazers who are happy to share their knowledge is a key to the event.

There are a few different options to experiencing the Starfest.  You can camp at the event,  enjoying the stars and commaraderie into the wee hours of the morning, or you can come visit the starfest on Saturday evening for a free public starparty from 7pm to 9pm.

For more details visit the Julian Starfest Website.
