These poles are from LEKI’s Ultralite category which include poles that are up to 20% lighter in weight than regular LEKI poles. They also feature LEKI’s new positive angle AERGON (air+ergonomics) grip which is a hallow (more lightweight) completely rounded (no edges) grip that can either be palmed or held traditionally for more variety.

Highgear-Terrapod

HG_terrapod_Full[1] Highgear debuts its first ever portable weather station the Terrapod, made specifically for outdoor adventures thanks to its versatility, ruggedness and weather-resistant features. Featuring an altimeter, compass, and barometer with 12-hour weather forecasting and temperature monitoring, the Terrapod is intuitive enough for the entry-level user yet features all of the high level attributes one requires for the ultimate in outdoor safety and predictability. Hilleberg-Allak

Hilleberg Allak Ultralite, all-season completely freestanding 2-person tent.

  • Ready and able, out of the box, to handle heavy snow load, yet ultralight enough for summer backpacking
  • Fully free standing – including its two integrated vestibules – and can be pitched anywhere
  • Minimum weight 5 lbs 8 oz
  • Over 32 ft2 of interior roominess + two roomy vestibules with 9.7 ft2 each.
  • Double wall design (a Hilleberg standard) ensures maximum comfort, flexibility, and protection from the elements
  • Linked inner and outer tents allow for easy and fast simultaneous pitching – no pitching an inner tent then wrestling a fly on top. The linked structure also ensures that the inner stays dry while pitching.
  • The inner and outer tents can each be used alone.
  • Three 9 mm DAC NSL poles cross each other in three places, providing a sturdy structure
  • Unique short sleeve & clip pole system lets the user easily peg the tent to the ground before building up the walls, thus keeping it secure in high winds while pitching.
  • Guy lines are already attached, can be wrapped around the poles for additional stability, and boast adjustable tensioners to deal with changing conditions.

Merrell Outbound Mid Gore-Tex The Merrell Outbound Mid Gore-Tex boots are fantastic backpacking boot.  Light yet supportive, they are the do-anything go anywhere boots.  The super aggressive tread holds in just about any terrain, and the waterproof breathable membrane keep your feet dry in the soggiest conditions.  I have put numerous miles in these boots, through cactus infested deserts to soggy mountains, and have not been disappointed.  The boots still look and perform great, and are looking like they will be good to go for a long time to come.
