I just weighed my 56 cm bike and it came to 19 lbs 4 oz with the supplied components. the addition of pedals and a bottle cage upped the weight to 20 lbs 2oz.

Nice review, very useful. I'm considering buying this bike - can I ask how much it weighs?

The final report will be out next week, but I am loving the bike. The geometry certainly makes it more upright, but the is a certain amount of adjustability in the spacer of the stem to bring your position down a little. I like the more upright stance but it does come at an aerodynamic cost, and you feel it a bit with any kind wind and in fast descents. I have not had an issue with the weight, but I have not ridden a Trek 2.3, so I cannot compare. The two bikes look very similar on paper, it would be a matter of riding them both. I really have come to appreciate the Zing Deluxe in the last few months, and would recommend it as a viable choice for any one looking for a bike in this range.

So how are you finding it so far? I'm considering this versus a Trek 2.3. It seems the Zing is heavier, cheaper, better spec'd with more comfortable geometry. Just wondering how the weight and riding position are working out for you.
